Marlaina Schiavo is an American Producer, Writer, and Humorist whose a 20+ year career has run the gamut of news and entertainment.

Marlaina’s career began at CNN, which became her professional home base for over 10 years with two year stints at Fox News and Court TV wedged in the middle.

During the latter part of her tenure at CNN/HLN, Marlaina spent several years working under the deadline of a daily live show as well as in front of the camera, delivering live on-air reporting for breaking news stories.
After leaving the network in 2012,  Marlaina worked as a freelance producer and writer at both CBS News and ABC News Radio, while taking on a variety of freelance projects across all media platforms.
